Reception
Our Reception Class are taught in conjunction with the Nursery as part of a Foundation Stage Unit. Mrs Graham is the Foundation Stage Teacher, with Mrs Sheard (NNEB) and Mrs Newsome making up the team.
We aim to encourage the development of children's numeracy, literacy and language skills through all we do. We are able to provide a wide range of experiences for the children, including physical play, constructional play, creative play, pretend play and many trips to experience at first hand knowledge of the wider world, linked to activies in school.
We asked our children why they liked coming to school. This is what they said...
" When I am at school I like playing in the sand."
"When I come to school I like to do hard work!"
"I like coming to school because I can play football, ride bikes and build with the Mobilo. In fact, I like lots of things."
